The history of the Semey Cement Plant began more than 65 years ago, with the commissioning of the first production line in November 1958. Two more lines were launched in February — April 1959. On October 4, 1965, the fourth rotary kiln was put into operation.

Today, the plant is equipped with state-of-the-art technology that ensures a high degree of environmental protection.

Its design capacity is 1,150,000 tons of cement per year. From 1958 to January 2023, the plant produced a total of 61,285,932 tons of cement.

The plant is located on the left bank of the Irtysh River, in the western part of Semey city, 3.5 km from the Zhana — Semey railway station.

The enterprise maintains a well-developed social infrastructure: A kindergarten for employees’ children with 150 places, a health center, a gym A factory canteen providing free meals for employees, operating 24/7. The workforce numbers 1,200 employees.

Semey Cement Plant products are supplied to the domestic market, as well as to the West Siberian Federal District of the Russian Federation. Our cement is highly valued by consumers in Almaty, Astana, and other regions of Kazakhstan. It has been used in the construction of:

We conduct quality control at every production stage:

– Incoming inspection of raw materials (limestone, clay, gypsum, sand, blast furnace slag, pyrite cinders, coal, etc.);

– Process control (from raw material processing to finished product output);

– Final product control (physical and mechanical, as well as chemical indicators);

All types of cement produced by the plant demonstrate stable quality, high efficiency under steaming, rapid early strength development, which ensures a significant reduction in construction cycles and savings in financial and energy resources.

The plant’s convenient location enables cement delivery to any region of Kazakhstan and the CIS by rail and road transport.

Deliveries are made in: Bulk in cement rail wagons; 1-ton “BigBag” flexible containers; Branded 50 kg packaging.
